Fishing is Fair: The Rogue has two important seasons

the first being the late spring season that revolves around the legendary Salmonfly hatch in the upper stretches.  The second popular season is September/October when thousands of half-pounder and summer run Steelhead are in the river and can provide some amazing fishing.  Both Guide Brandon Mathews (who is the head guide at the historic Morrison's Lodge) and the Ashland Fly Shop will be giving us regular reports.  Keep checking back as the first reports will begin in May.
