Fishing Report - Good to great: Capt. Patrick Mackenzie reports that schools of larger stripers have migrated up the Napa, with keepers in abundance and adult fish consistently mixed in. The bait is still plentiful and active so the fish are on the chew. Middle and lower river are fishing the best right now, upper section in downtown is seeing the least amount of fish.

Gear Tip: full sinking lines, bait fish imitations - clouser/deceivers in grey/white, chart/white, olive/white

Recommended Flies - Click here to go to our Fly Catalog

Clouser Minnows: Chartreuse & White, Chartreuse & Yellow, Gray & White

Our guide Patrick Mackenzie is the only fly fishing guide on the Napa so if you would like him to show you how to fish this river that holds some of the bigest Stripers in California,  give the shop a call  (800)483-1222 or click here and we will set you up.
