been featured in national magazines. Specializing in the amazing bass fishery to be found in our foothill lakes he

guides our valley tailwaters too.  He is the only fly fishing guide on Clearlake which has been named by Bassmaster Magazine as the bass fishing lake of the decade.

Ethan grew up on the Lower American and the other valley tailwaters and knows the nook and crannies that other guides overlook. His goal is to ensure that you

come away from a day on the water satisfied that your knowledge of fly fishing has increased.

Jared Shakin

Growing up in Glennwood Springs Colorado Jared cut his teeth fly fishing the Frying Pan and the Roaring Fork. Now based in Roseville CA he applies that knowledge

to guiding on the Lower Feather, Lower Yuba, North Yuba, and Lower American.   Whether it be Stripers, Trout, Steelhead or Shad he knows where they are.

Capt. Patrick Mackenzie

If you want to fish for Stripers in the Napa River or Largemouth, Smallmouth and Spots in the foothill lakes, Patrick is your guy.  As a matter of

fact, Patrick is the only fly fishing guide on the Napa River.  The Napa is home seasonally to some of the largest Stripped Bass in California and they have a reputation of being some of the strongest fighting Stripers too, as they have spent very little of their time in freshwater. He is also the only fly fishing guide on Lake Berryessa which is ranked as one of the top ten Bass lakes in the USA.

Whether you are a novice that is just getting into the game, a family out on vacation looking to fish, or the seasoned angler looking to lay into some fish, Capt. Mark can provide you with a memorable experience.

Mark grew up fishing the Delta and northern CA trout streams and has been guiding since 1984. He's very personable but very serious about getting his clients fish.
From the novice angler to the seasoned fly-fisher, the excitement of being on the river and fighting that big catch is contagious to all.  Dave specializes in the Lower Yuba and Feather Rivers.
